Employed on a casual basis

Pay scale range: SCP7 (£13.26/hr)

We are looking for exam invigilators, for the academic year, to join our rota to work on a casual basis, at most times during the year, for both internal and external exam periods.

Paperwork and filing skills are required, with the ability to follow precise instructions. We are looking for people with a flexible attitude, the ability to work as part of a team and people who have good attention to detail. Training will be given.

Anyone applying for this position will be expected to be available during the KS4 exams seasons, which are typically a week at the end of November / beginning of December, a week at the end of February / beginning of March, and the whole of May & June. There will be work outside of these times, but this is when we need all of our invigilators, in order to provide students with consistence and continuity in their exams.

We are currently looking for an outstanding and enthusiastic teacher to start ideally after the Easter holidays to form part of a supportive and motivated team in continuing our drive to further raise achievement at all levels in EPR. You will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of EPR.
The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in an EPR department which has a philosophy of shared practice. The ability to teach across the full age and ability range is essential as EPR is taught at KS3 & KS4. They will become part of a forward-thinking and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to make a difference to the achievement and life chances of the young people we serve.
