Year 9 Options
September 2025
Welcome to the Year 9 Options process. Over the next few weeks you should find everything that you need to enable you to make the best choice of Key Stage 4 subjects.
Here is the timeline of activities to help you make this important decision:
- Tuesday 21 January - Options Evening 5:30pm - 7:00pm, with key talks at 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30pm
- Friday 24 January- Year 9 progress reports issued
- Friday 14 February - Year 9 Parents Evening booking opens
- Wednesday 5 March - Year 9 Parents Consultation Evening
- Friday 7 March - Final deadline to submit options form (online)
Once all the choices are made we then start the process of timetabling for next year and we write to every student during the Summer term to confirm their courses. If we are unable to fulfil a student's top three options, we will always speak to them in person.
