- Friends of Lawnswood
At Lawnswood, we believe that every child should achieve their potential.
Each pupil is treated as an individual and we match our resources to their needs. As well as differentiated resources used in the classroom, we have 4 intervention centres where the expertise of our staff is in place to support our more vulnerable pupils in filling any gaps they may have in aspects of their education and/or social and emotional well-being.
At our latest OFSTED inspection in October 2013, OFSTED wrote:
“The school provides very good care and support for all students, particularly for those whose circumstances make them vulnerable. A range of effective strategies enable all students to feel safe and fully included in the life of the school.”
The Local Offer
Every local authority must publish a Local Offer. The Local Offer tells you what support the local authority expects to be available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities.

If you would like further advice or information about the Leeds Local Offer and how to use it, you can call the Helpline on 0113 3951200 or send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
