Congratulations to our fantastic sixth form students!

It was a joy to spend this morning sharing exam results with our key stage 5 students.

As always our students' hard work has been rewarded with a strong set of results that have secured excellent opportunities for them next year.  Academic, vocational and technical qualifications have all fared well and the wide variety of courses offered has meant that our students have chosen to follow a wide variety of pathways next year.

A few of the highlights include:

John Kempe Stanners, who will be studying Medicine at Sheffield University and Tom Heggarty who also achieved 3xA grades and will travel to Bristiol University to study Law.

Areej Asaf is going to Leicester University to study Psychology, Sumaiyyah Chida to study Optometry at Cardiff,  Kristina Ossitt will be studying Chemistry at Bradford University and Lyba Hussain secured her place at Leeds University to study Audiology.

Another two Psychology places will be filled by Grace McGill and Tamara Teleki who will both be traveling to Huddersfield University in September, they will be joined in Hudderfield by Junje Yang who will be studying Architecture.

A number of students are looking forward to starting their apprenticeships and we look forward to hearing from Head Boy Dan Griffin as he continues to move through the rigorous RAF application process.

Lawnswood School continues to be a good school!
